Job summary

Jonta M&E, Didcot-based electrical infrastructure specialist, is seeking an experienced HV/LV Site Manager to lead the delivery of major power and electrical projects in the region. This 100% site-based role requires hands-on leadership of electrical and multidisciplinary teams to ensure works are completed safely, on time and to the highest standards.

You will coordinate subcontractors, review RAMS, maintain CDM compliance, and plan labour, materials and resources with project management teams.

• SMSTS as a minimum requirement.
• Relevant electrical qualifications and ECS or equivalent certification.

HV/LV SITE MANAGER

Didcot Area | Permanent | Power & Electrical Infrastructure Projects

Jonta Recruitment is working with a growing electrical infrastructure business seeking an experienced HV/LV Site Manager to support the delivery of major power and electrical infrastructure projects across the region.

THE ROLE

This is a 100% site-based position managing the safe and efficient delivery of multiple HV and LV electrical infrastructure projects.

You will take ownership of day-to-day site operations, lead electrical and multidisciplinary teams, coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing day-to-day site operations across HV and LV electrical infrastructure projects.
• Leading electrical operatives, subcontractors and specialist contractors.
• Coordinating electrical, civil engineering and mechanical work packages.
• Reviewing RAMS, ensuring CDM compliance and maintaining high site safety standards.
• Planning labour, materials and resources, monitoring progress and reporting to project management teams.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a hands-on and organised Site Manager with a strong electrical background and experience overseeing electrical infrastructure or installation projects.

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience as an HV/LV Site Manager or in a similar electrical site management position.
• Strong experience across HV and LV electrical projects.
• Experience managing electrical installation teams and subcontractors.
• Ability to coordinate civil, mechanical and electrical work packages.
• Good understanding of CDM regulations, RAMS and site health and safety.
• Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.
• SMSTS as a minimum requirement.
• Relevant electrical qualifications and ECS or equivalent industry-recognised certification.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

• First Aid at Work.
• Temporary Works Awareness.
• IOSH Managing Safely.
• Previous experience within utilities, power infrastructure, ICP, IDNO or substation environments.
