Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support high‑voltage power projects across the UK, including substations, grid connections, renewables and data centres.

You will oversee HV installations (11kV-132kV), coordinate subcontractors, review designs and assist with outages, pre‑commissioning and energisation activities. A UK driving licence and Authorised Person experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering HV substation or cable projects within the UK
• Strong understanding of switchgear, cable systems, protection and control equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Knowledge of DNO/TSO working practices, CDM and industry safety standards
• HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
• Full UK driving licence
• Authorised Person experience (11kV/33kV)
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• Experience on transmission or renewable energy projects

Electrical Project Engineer - HV Power & Substations

Our client is looking for Electrical Project Engineers to support the delivery of high-voltage power infrastructure projects across the UK. Working on substations, grid connections, renewable energy and data centre schemes, you'll play a key role in ensuring electrical installations are delivered safely, on programme and ready for energisation.
