Job summary

Tata Steel UK Limited in Shotton is seeking an Electrical HV Engineer to contribute to the High and Low voltage distribution systems across the Shotton Works. You will participate in switchgear maintenance, protection testing and the delivery of HV/LV projects with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will monitor distribution networks, support the HV Engineering manager, develop apprentices, and help implement procedures while working closely with end users and manufacturing to resolve faults

Qualifications

• High voltage distribution experience.
• Knowledge of HV/LV protection systems is advantageous.
• Ability to plan activities and direct personnel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the HV and LV distribution systems at Shotton Works.
• Maintain switchgear and protection testing from 33kV down to 415V.
• Undertake risk assessments and contribute to safety plans.
