The candidate should have strong HV design background, with 132kV experience preferred and 33kV experience welcomed with willingness to scale, plus solid knowledge of UK power networks and DNO/IDNO requirements.

Qualifications

• HV design experience, with 132kV focus; 33kV candidates considered with willingness to scale.
• UK power distribution networks, DNO/IDNO requirements knowledge.
• Engineering degree (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Detail-driven, analytical problem solver with strong communication and multi-package management.

Responsibilities

• Produce and review HV designs, schematics, and layouts.
• Design and specify HV plant equipment (switchgear, transformers, protection).
• Ensure designs comply with UK standards and DNO/IDNO guidelines.
• Collaborate with project teams and external stakeholders for safe, efficient solutions.
• Provide technical support throughout feasibility, planning, construction and commissioning.
