Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a High Voltage Commissioning Engineer to drive on-site testing and commissioning of HV infrastructure up to 132kV across England. The role involves hands-on field work, substantial overtime and a company vehicle with allowances.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in HV commissioning, SAP authorisation and experience with DNO/ICP/IDNO networks. You will manage commissioning activities independently on-site and travel as required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' hands-on HV commissioning experience.
• Proven commissioning experience up to 132kV.
• Must already have SAP experience/authorisation.
• Experience across DNO, ICP, IDNO or private HV networks.
• Strong knowledge of HV testing, protection, switchgear and commissioning procedures.
• Comfortable working independently on site and managing commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Test and commission HV electrical systems up to 132kV on diverse projects.
• Manage commissioning activities on site and coordinate with teams.
• Work across England with flexible location for the right candidate.
• Liaise with clients and ensure compliance with HV procedures.
