TeacherActive Limited is seeking a Humanities Teacher in Altrincham to cover KS3 and KS4. The role is full-time and long-term, starting after October half term, with a daily rate of £170–£250.

You will deliver engaging Humanities lessons across RE, Geography and/or History while upholding strong classroom management. The school has a Good OFSTED rating and offers a supportive environment, CPD, and a competitive pay scale.

Job Title: Humanities Teacher

Salary: £170 - £250 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Altrincham with a Good OFSTED rating, who are looking to appoint a Humanities Teacher. The school provides a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their knowledge, confidence and enthusiasm for learning.

The school is looking to take on a Humanities Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis starting after October half term. The successful Humanities Teacher will teach Humanities across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons in RE, Geography and/or History while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and academic progress.

The successful Humanities Teacher will have:

• QTS, with ECTs also welcomed to apply
• Experience teaching Humanities across KS3 and KS4
• Strong subject knowledge in RE, Geography and/or History
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
