Job Description:
ü Delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons across KS3 and KS4 in subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies
ü Promotingcritical thinking,cultural awareness, andindependent learningthrough a rich and inclusive Humanities curriculum
ü Usingdata-driven assessmentto monitor progress and inform planning
ü Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities, including trips, clubs, and themed days
ü Collaborating with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the department
The Ideal Candidate Will:
ü Have experience teaching Humanities subjects at secondary level, ideally up to GCSE (desirable but not essential)
ü Be a reflective and innovative practitioner with strongbehaviour managementandadaptive teachingstrategies
ü Demonstrate a commitment toinclusive educationandraising attainmentfor all learners
ü Be confident in usingtechnology-enhanced learninganddifferentiated instruction
ü Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ü Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check
