Job summary

Oliver Brookes is seeking an experienced People Services Team Leader to shape and enhance HR service delivery within a growing organisation. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will lead the development of an effective HR Shared Services function and drive improvements across the employee lifecycle.

You will manage a small HR team, champion best practice, influence at all levels, and contribute to a customer-focused, high-quality service with a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Job description

Our client is a well-established international organisation currently undergoing an exciting period of growth and transformation. As part of this journey, they are investing in their people function and are now looking to appoint an experienced People Services Team Leader to help shape and enhance their HR service delivery.

Reporting into the Head of HR, this role will lead the development of an effective HR Shared Services function. You will be responsible for driving process improvements, embedding consistent ways of working, and enhancing the employee experience across the full employee lifecycle. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will champion best practice, promote the value of a shared services model, and lead, coach and develop a small HR team (headcount of 2) to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service.

You will be an experienced HR Shared Services professional with a strong understanding of HR operations and service delivery within a fast-paced commercial environment such as retail or manufacturing. Ideally you will have experience of using Workday. With excellent stakeholder management skills, you will be confident influencing at all levels and have a proven track record of leading change, improving processes, and developing high-performing teams. A collaborative and proactive approach, alongside a passion for continuous improvement, will be key to success in this role.
