You will provide HR guidance to the Headteacher, SLT and staff, support HR projects, and maintain the HR database with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment process across all departments, acting as first point of contact for the school.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, external requirements, safer recruitment, and codes of practice.
• Provide HR advice and guidance to Headteacher, SLT and staff.
• Support the implementation of HR strategy through delegated projects.
• Maintain an accurate HR database.
• Maintain confidentiality as a core aspect of the role.

Job description

Northease Manor School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and ambitious HR Officer who has worked in a school, charity or similar HR environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to work in a specialist SEND school, contributing to the smooth operations of Human Resources across all areas.

Main Responsibilities, Tasks and Duties:

• Manage the recruitment process across all departments maintaining the highest professional courtesy and response as the first point of contact for the school.
• Ensure compliance with relevant internal policies and procedures as well as external requirements (including relevant employment legislation, safer recruitment compliance and relevant codes of practice)
• Provide HR advice and guidance to the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and staff
• Support the implementation of HR strategy through delivery of delegated projects
• Maintain an accurate HR database
• Maintaining confidentiality is critical to this role
