Job description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across a wide range of clinical and non-clinical roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, expanding to 2.2 million with regional and national services.

Shift Pattern

The post involves a flexible shift pattern, typically Monday and Tuesday one week, and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday the next, supporting a job share. Salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.

Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership is Scotland's largest HSCP, providing health and social care services to Glasgow and surrounding areas. Its lead partners are Glasgow City Council and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

Job Role

A part-time Human Resource Manager position has arisen within our established HR team. Reporting to service management, HR Managers support strategic and operational HR issues, including employee engagement, workforce culture, modernization, performance, planning, resourcing, employee relations, leadership, and project work across the HSCP and wider GGC Health Board.

Candidate Requirements
  • Degree-level education or equivalent
  • Membership of CIPD
  • Significant experience as a generalist HR practitioner in a large, complex, unionized environment
