Agora Talent Ltd is hiring an hands‑on HR Manager for a fast‑growing consumer brand in the South West England. You will own the people function, build HR processes and lead recruitment and ER in a practical, business‑facing role.

You’ll partner with managers to drive performance, wellbeing and culture while ensuring compliance with UK employment law. This is a visible role with real influence on growth and people strategy.

Formación

• General HR experience, ideally in a growing or scale‑up business.
• Pragmatic, commercial approach to processes.
• Confident, independent, go‑to person for people topics.
• Strong ER knowledge and UK employment law understanding.
• Excellent relationship skills at all levels.
• CIPD qualification preferred, not essential.
• Experience in consumer brands, FMCG, retail or hospitality is a bonus.

Responsabilidades

• Own the day‑to‑day people function end to end.
• Build and refresh HR policies, processes and documentation for a growing business.
• Run onboarding and offboarding smoothly.
• Support managers with performance management, development and reviews.
• Manage benefits and wellbeing initiatives.
• Lead recruitment for junior and mid‑level roles.
• Handle employee relations matters with sound judgement.
• Keep the business compliant with employment law and best practice.
• Drive engagement and protect a strong culture as the team grows.
• Produce HR reporting and data for the leadership team.
• Work closely with Finance and the company’s legal adviser.

HR Manager | Fast-growing consumer brand | South West England | £50,000 - £60,000

We’re working with a fast-growing premium consumer brand that’s going through an exciting stage of growth. They’re looking for a hands‑on HR Manager to take genuine ownership of the people function and help shape how the business grows.

This is a practical, roll-your-sleeves-up role. It suits someone who enjoys being close to the business and getting things done, rather than working in a large corporate HR team.

What you’ll be doing

• Owning the day-to‑day people function end to end
• Building and refreshing HR policies, processes and documentation that work for a growing business
• Running smooth onboarding and offboarding
• Supporting managers with performance management, development and reviews
• Managing benefits and wellbeing initiatives
• Leading recruitment for junior and mid-level roles
• Handling employee relations matters with sound judgement
• Keeping the business compliant with employment law and best practice
• Driving engagement and helping protect a strong culture as the team grows
• Producing HR reporting and data for the leadership team
• Working closely with Finance and the company’s legal adviser

What you’ll bring

• Solid generalist HR experience, ideally in a growing or scale‑up business
• A pragmatic, commercial approach: you know when a process helps and when it gets in the way
• Confidence working on your own and being the go-to person for all things people
• Strong ER knowledge and an up‑to‑date understanding of UK employment law
• Great relationship skills with people at every level
• CIPD qualified or working towards it (preferred, not essential)
• Experience in consumer brands, FMCG, food and drink, retail or hospitality would be a bonus
