Job summary

Impact Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to own the people function within a fast-paced SME. The role blends hands-on HR delivery with strategic partnering, shaping people initiatives and improving processes to foster a positive, high-performing workplace culture.

You will work closely with senior leadership to address issues early, provide pragmatic solutions, and deliver an excellent employee experience across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification (or above) is preferred.
• Experience as an HR Manager in a small, fast-paced SME/agency/start-up environment is advantageous.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to balance day-to-day delivery and long-term initiatives.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced HR generalist to take ownership of the people function within a high-achieving organisation. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll combine hands-on HR delivery with the opportunity to shape people initiatives, improve processes and help create a positive, high-performing workplace culture.

This is a true top-down, bottom-up role, and we're looking for someone who can offer commercial and strategic partnering alongside the day-to-day operational elements. You'll be someone who can spot issues before they escalating, provide pragmatic solutions and deliver a thoughtful employee experience. The ideal candidate will have recent experience working within an SME, ideally within an agency environment.

The Role

About You

• CIPD Level 5 qualified or above, ideally.
• An experienced HR Manager, comfortable operating autonomously within a small and fast-paced business.
• A natural relationship-builder who can balance day-to-day delivery with longer-term people initiatives.
• Experience within an SME, agency, or start-up environment would be advantageous.
