We are entering an exciting new chapter following several years of exponential growth. With our global headquarters in Miami and a team of over 800 employees across Canada, the US, and the UK, our international presence continues to expand.
As part of this continued growth, we are now seeking a UK HR Director to join our UK head office in Reading. This is a key leadership role supporting approximately 220 employees across our five regional UK offices working within the Invoice Finance industry.
The Opportunity:
As a Human Resources Director, you will be an integral part of our leadership team and a key collaborator with our global HR team.
Positioned in our Reading office, in this role you will be responsible for the design and delivery of the UK HR strategy, project/ programme execution, combined with a mix of day-to-day HR, project/program execution as we continue to grow and scale.

Responsibilities:
• Partner with UK Board to design and deliver the UK HR strategy .
• Partner with senior leaders to implement business strategy and build organizational and leadership capability.
• Coordinate and ensure seamless end-to-end delivery of global HR priorities and programs.
• Act as a key advisor to senior management on all HR related issues. Tailor and execute fully all aspects of the People Agenda.
• Partner with leaders to implement employee engagement strategies, initiatives, and communications.
• Partner with the HR Manager to resolve Employee Relations (ER) issues, ensuring appropriate actions are taken and risks are assessed
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Partner with leadership to assess and design organizational structures that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and implement talent acquisition and development strategies to attract and develop top talent and ensure a diverse workforce.
• Support the implementation of performance management systems that align with business goals and promote accountability.
• Utilize HR analytics to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of people initiatives.
• Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with others in HR to develop solutions, programmes, and policies.
• Collaborate on and improve the organisational design, role structure, and communication flow to align to business strategy and priorities.
• Provide change management and leadership coaching to successfully embrace opportunities for scale and growth.
Qualifications:
• BS/ BA in human resources or business-related field
• CIPD membership (Chartered or Fellow) and/or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 10+ years’ experience as a Senior HRBP or Head of HR working in a finance and/or tech focused industry
• Proven success as a strategic partner with a variety of internal customers.
• Experience using data to measure the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.
• Strong understanding of HR programs including compensation, performance management, and leadership development.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate credibly with all levels in the organisation
• Experience of working with global teams is a plus.
• Proven people management skills with the ability to inspire and provide direction and support.
• Significant experience in leading, managing and driving a proactive and consistent HR service.
• Expert knowledge of HR services including policy development, compliance, contract management, recruitment, retention, and professional development.
