Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Services Administrator in a prestigious education institute located in one of London's most iconic settings. This is a temporary role for 1-3 months with a possibility of a permanent position.

The successful candidate's duties will include:

  • Supporting the coordination of hiring processes, liaising with recruiting managers to finalize and launch job adverts, job descriptions, person specifications, and other recruitment information.
  • Using the e-recruitment system to monitor the progress of vacancies, proactively liaising with recruiting managers and candidates to ensure a positive experience.
  • Tracking recruitment costs against the budget and producing reports on key recruitment metrics such as time to recruit, expenditure on recruitment campaigns, and EDI information.
  • Conducting all pre-employment checks including Right to Work in the UK, references, and DBS checks, escalating any concerns to the People Partner.
  • Ensuring the accurate and timely issuance of offer letters, contracts, new starter information, and reference requests.
  • Supporting and ensuring effective onboarding for new hires to foster a positive employee experience.
  • Supporting administration of the UK Visa sponsorship system for new recruits and ensuring expiry dates for all employees on time-limited visas are managed in the system.
  • Ensuring new hires are paid accurately and on time, and undertaking the monthly payroll checks in liaison with the external payroll provider.
