Hunter Adams are supporting a Scottish public sector client with an exciting 12-month Fixed-Term Contract for an experienced HR Business Partner. The role focuses on strategic partnering, complex employee relations, and leading HR teams to deliver people strategies across workforce planning, wellbeing, attendance and change initiatives.

Hunter Adams are delighted to be supporting a client within the Scottish public sector, with this exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner on a 12 month FTC.

We are keen to connect with HR professionals who have a strong background in strategic business partnering, complex employee relations and leading effective HR teams.

The role offers the chance to work closely with senior leaders, influence people strategy and drive improvements across workforce planning, employee wellbeing, attendance, organisational change and people management practices.

With a key focus on HR transformation, continuous improvement and building leadership capability, it’s a great fit for a confident HR leader who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on operational delivery.

You’ll bring strong stakeholder management skills, experience handling complex people matters and the ability to lead and develop a team through change. Chartered CIPD membership is essential.
