Job summary

Burton and South Derbyshire College is seeking an experienced People & Performance Business Partner to work with managers and leaders across the College to deliver practical, people-focused solutions. You’ll provide expert advice across ER, organisational change, workforce planning and development.

The role requires strong UK employment law knowledge, CIPD Level 5+ or equivalent, and substantial HRBP/Advisor experience; FE or unionised environments are advantageous.

We’re recruiting: People & Performance Business Partner

Salary: £42,415 | Permanent | Full-time

Burton and South Derbyshire College is looking for an experienced People & Performance Business Partner to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional who wants to make a real impact, working closely with managers and leaders across the College to deliver practical, people-focused solutions.

You’ll provide expert advice across employee relations, organisational change, workforce planning, management development, employee engagement and organisational development, while using people data and insight to help shape decisions.

We’re looking for someone with strong UK employment law knowledge, CIPD Level 5+ (or equivalent experience), and substantial HR Advisor/Business Partner experience. Experience in FE or another complex, unionised environment would be an advantage.
