Job Description Summary:
PURPOSE: To assist the Human Resources Team in the delivery of a professional HR Service ensuring that it is legally compliant and is within the agreed policies and procedures of the Company.
Contribute to the development, review and consistent implementation of people related policies and processess across the Company. Effectively manage HR information and data.
- 1. Provide an efficient HR support service by ensuring documentation is completed with accuracy, speed and confidentiality in order to support the Senior Company Team, Senior Managers and the Human Resources Team.
- 2. Use technology to collect and analyse information and produce timely and accurate reports for workforce analysis and publication.
- 3. Maintain and effectively apply an up to date knowledge of HR related policies, procedures and practices in accordance with terms and conditions of service providing general advice as required.
- 4. Support the Head of Human Resources with project work, policy and procedure development and review, systems reviews, researching alternatives and supporting with their implementation as required.
- 5. Supports the Human Resources Team with the administration and servicing of the Company’s Joint Consultative Framework including the circulation of meeting agenda and papers, attendance at and minute taking of meetings.
- 6. Maintain and monitor the Company’s Long Service Award scheme and a range of salary sacrifice schemes operated by the Company.
- 7. Responsible for the maintenance of an accurate employee record systems including the creation of new starter files and archiving of leavers information in accordance with document retention requirements.
- 8. Responsible for ensuring the maintenance of accurate and up to date HR related information held on the Company’s Intranet and Internet sites.
- 9. The Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and associated legislation places responsibilities for health and safety on Hull Culture and Leisure, as your employer and you as an employee of the company. In addition to the Company’s overall duties, the post holder has personal responsibility for their own health and safety and that of other employees; additional and more specific responsibilities are identified in the Company’s Corporate Health and Safety policy.

Pay Ranges:
£25,583.00 - £26,403.00
