Job summary

Elevation HR are partnering with a Hull-based business to appoint an experienced HR Advisor on a hybrid, full-time, permanent basis. You will provide first-line HR guidance, handle employee relations, and contribute to salary and bonus reviews, performance appraisals, and broader people initiatives.

This role offers hands-on HR exposure across the remit, opportunities to develop generalist skills, and close collaboration with managers.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting employee relations cases from minor to complex
• Good working knowledge of UK employment law
• CIPD qualified or working towards
• Commercially minded with ability to advise at all levels

Responsibilities

• Providing first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
• Supporting managers with employee relations matters (discipline, grievance, absence, performance)
• Advising on day-to-day HR queries and escalating complex matters
• Supporting projects around benefits and process improvements
• Assisting onboarding and employee exit processes
• Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Supporting employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
• Keeping HR systems and data up to date
• Working with managers to provide practical HR support

Elevation HR are working with a successful business in Hull who are looking to appoint an experienced HR Advisor to join their team on a hybrid, full-time, permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a HR team that is stripping things back and taking a much more hands-on approach with managers. You'll be supporting across employee relations while also getting stuck into projects around salary and bonus reviews, performance reviews and wider people initiatives. It offers the successful candidate genuine scope to develop across the full HR remit and build a strong generalist skill set. As a HR Advisor, you will be:

• CIPD Qualified or working towards
