Job description

Iconic Resourcing have an opportunity for an HR Advisor to join our Edinburgh based client on a temporary basis, initially for a period of 6 months.

A varied role which will combine providing advice and guidance to employees and managers, ensuring their HRIS is accurate and up to date as well as supporting the department and business with a range of projects. You will also interact with a range of stakeholders across the firm, providing advice and support on a daily basis.

Duties will include:
  • First line HR advice to the business, providing quality and clear guidance, as well as an excellent and responsive service.
  • Owning the end-to-end of HR Advice case delivery requested by employees and managers which includes producing documentation at all stages of the employee lifecycle to include job changes, parental leave, long service, and resignation/retirements.
  • Maintaining personnel files as well as creating/updating their HRIS with staffing updates, payroll updates, etc.
  • Managing the HR Inbox on behalf of the team on a rotational basis, responding to queries and raising cases where appropriate.
  • Support other teams in the department to allow successful delivery of cyclical activities or projects.
Skills & experience required:
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities to allow you to communicate across a broad spectrum of individuals in a professional manner.
  • Highly data literate with the ability to learn new systems & processes quickly.
  • Passionate about providing an exceptional colleague experience.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload whilst meeting deadlines while maintaining quality output.
