Overview

We seek to appoint a suitably experienced person to the position of Human Resources Administrator from January 2026. The HR department consists of the Head of HR, HR Business Partner and this maternity cover role of HR Administrator. The department provides a full HR service to c400 staff across all three schools. This is a hands-on, operational role and the role holder will carry out a range of administrative duties, including those related to safer recruitment and maintaining both paper and electronic records.

Responsibilities
  • To assist with the maintenance of all electronically and manually stored HR records ensuring all data is accurate and up to date and provide timely reports as and when required. This includes carrying out regular HR audit checks to ensure integrity of data is maintained and ensuring compliance with Data Protection legislation.
  • To provide administrative support for a range of HR projects.
  • To assist with staff recruitment across the school including preparing recruitment documents, organising recruitment timetables, and greeting candidates.
  • To assist with the preparation of employment contracts, changes to employment terms and conditions letters, ensuring they are accurate and issued in a timely manner.
  • To build effective working relationships with staff at all levels, providing routine advice and guidance on a range of HR policies and HR related issues.
  • To ensure confidentiality of information, including the safeguarding of information about current, past and prospective employees; to ensure the privacy and confidentiality of HR information.

Hours and Salary

Hours of work: 30 hours per week - Monday to Friday 9.00 to 3.30 with half an hour unpaid lunch. Flexibility can be offered on start/finish times.

Salary: £21,964 (actual salary).
