Evri is seeking a proactive Hub, Systems & Yard Assistant Controller for the Barnsley Hub. The role sits in the PM operation, overseeing inbound and outbound flows and ensuring parcels move efficiently through the network.

You will monitor performance, manage system functionality and collate reports while supporting colleagues to maintain high service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Experience within logistics, distribution, warehousing or a fast-paced operational environment.
• Experience analysing operational data and producing reports.
• Intermediate Excel skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support the day-to-day running of inbound and outbound operations.
• Monitor performance, productivity and parcel flow to meet targets.
• Use systems and data to identify issues and support resolutions.
• Produce accurate operational reports and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Support gatehouse activities, trailer dispatches and sorter system performance.
• Train and support Warehouse Operatives and Team Leaders on processes and systems.
• Promote health & safety, quality and compliance.
• Maintain an efficient, high-performing Control Room.

Hub, Systems & Yard Assistant Controller

Barnsley | Full Time | £28,628.76 | Permanent | 2pm - 10pm

We're looking for a proactive and detail-focused Hub, Systems & Yard Assistant Controller to join our PM operation at Barnsley Hub.

This is a key role within our Control Room team, supporting the smooth running of inbound and outbound operations and helping to ensure parcels continue moving efficiently through our network.

Working closely with the Hub, Systems & Yard Controller, you'll monitor operational performance, manage system functionality, support colleagues and help maintain high service standards across a busy, fast-paced operation.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the day-to-day running of inbound and outbound operations.

• Monitoring performance, productivity and parcel flow to help achieve operational targets.

• Using systems and data to identify issues, investigate missed parcels and support effective resolutions.

• Producing accurate operational reports and communicating key updates to stakeholders.

• Supporting gatehouse activities, trailer dispatches and sorter system performance.

• Training and supporting Warehouse Operatives, Team Leaders and Section Leaders on operational processes and systems.

• Promoting high standards of health & safety, quality and operational compliance.

• Helping maintain an efficient, organised and high-performing Control Room.

What We're Looking For

Experience & Knowledge

• Experience within logistics, distribution, warehousing or a fast-paced operational environment.

• Experience analysing operational data and producing reports.

• Intermediate Excel skills.

• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal Maths and English skills.

• PC literate with confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
