Job summary

RES is the world’s leading independent renewable energy company seeking a practical HSQE-support specialist for UK & Ireland Services. You will work with Asset Management and Operations & Maintenance to promote safe, compliant and effective ways of working on renewable assets.

The role involves site visits, reviewing RAMS and risk assessments, lifting plans and procedures, plus contributing to contractor management, incident investigations and continuous improvement across sites in the UK &

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of UK & Ireland health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Understanding of audit principles and management system standards (ISO 45001/14001/9001).
• Awareness of CDM Regulations and safe systems of work.
• Ability to interpret legislation and translate into practical controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, audits and assurance activities across operational sites and contractor activities.
• Review RAMS, risk assessments, point of work risk assessments, lifting plans and procedures.
• Provide HSQE input into contractor management and supplier pre-qualification.
• Support incident reporting, investigation and root cause analysis.
• Analyze trends to support continuous improvement and campaign implementation.
• Work with Asset Management and O&M teams to improve risk controls and safe systems of work.
• Support compliance with UK & Ireland HSQE legislation and RES standards.
