Job summary

Glanua is seeking an experienced HSQE Advisor to support the implementation and continual improvement of the HSQE Management System across Glanua’s operations in the UK. You will work closely with site teams to provide practical HSQE guidance, promote a strong safety culture and ensure regulatory and company compliance.

You will conduct site visits, audits and risk assessments, review safety documentation and support ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 management systems across Group operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar HSQE role, preferably civils, water, wastewater.
• Extensive knowledge of Safety, Health and Welfare at Work legislation and ISO standards.
• Minimum of a Level 4/5 or higher Health and Safety qualification.
• Strong ability to influence change and promote best practice.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfortable with new tech.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive HSQE culture across operations.
• Act as key HSQE contact for managers, employees and contractors.
• Support implementation and continual improvement of the HSQE Management System.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality legislation and standards.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and reports; close out corrective actions.
• Review risk assessments, method statements and safety documentation.
• Monitor ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 across Group operations.
• Assist in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Support internal and external HSQE audits and training initiatives.
• Collaborate with operations to improve environmental performance and sustainability.
