Job summary

Ciwmjobs is seeking a Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Manager to own HSEQ at a busy Leicester MRF site, working with the Operational Management Team to ensure high standards of health, safety, environmental compliance and quality.

The ideal candidate will have senior HSEQ experience in waste/recycling or a similar industry, NVQ Level 4 OSH or equivalent, and an IEMA Associate Certificate, with strong leadership and IT skills.

Qualifications

• Senior HSEQ/Health & Safety or Quality management experience in a busy operational setting.
• Experience in waste/recycling, manufacturing or FMCG environments is preferred.
• Hold NVQ Level 4 in OSH or equivalent and IEMA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for HSEQ across the site and act as main contact.
• Monitor operations for compliance with permits, procedures and laws.
• Lead ISO systems, audits, training, and continuous improvement.
• Prepare for internal/external audits and drive corrective actions.
• Lead HSEQ meetings and coordinate training and reporting.
