Based near M25/M40, you will work regularly across head office and operational sites.

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate strict adherence to company policies, regulations, and legal obligations, including health and safety, transportation, vehicle management, and environmental standards.
  • Offer guidance and assistance to ensure teams, contractors, visitors, and the public follow all relevant safety and environmental protocols in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders by delivering consistent, high-quality service and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Contribute to the successful implementation of the HSEQ Roadmap by supporting site inspections, incident reviews, training needs, risk advice, and audits.
  • Support leadership development through coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job training.
  • Participate actively as a key member of the HSEQ team, contributing to collective goals and stakeholder commitments.
Accountabilities:
  • Operational Support: Ensure teams understand responsibilities and best practices, offering clarification and challenging inefficiencies.
  • Site Oversight: Monitor operational sites to ensure HSEQ activities are properly carried out, documented, and reported.
  • Field Relationships: Foster safe, open, and trusting working relationships to promote a transparent safety culture.
Qualifications & Skills – Essential:
  • NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification
  • UK driver’s license
Experience – Essential:
  • Proven experience in promoting and maintaining health and safety standards within a construction setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
Experience – Desirable:
  • Flexibility to work night shifts when required
  • Experience in diverse construction projects, with knowledge of full-scope build processes
