I am excited to be partnering with Zip Pak, part of the ITW group, a $16bn turnover business operating globally. They are seeking a new QHSE Manager to join their site in Whitby. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global company working with well-known brands.

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience leading internal and external audits (customer and supplier)
• Proven success in obtaining and maintaining ISO accreditations
• Experience implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems
• Liaise with Production Manager / Shift Leaders to ensure adherence to Quality and HSE procedures
• Promote a safety culture and safety awareness among teams and oneself
• Manage Near Miss/Safety Catch programmes effectively
• Conduct and update Risk Assessments in collaboration with departmental managers and staff
• Design and deliver H&S training to operators and staff at all levels
• Chair regular Quality and H&S meetings
• Keep Quality procedures current and up to date
• Support complaint investigations and liaise with teams on customer quality questionnaires
• Create, update, and maintain product specifications following Change Management procedures
• Ensure ISO 9001 and 14001 procedures are maintained
• Arrange and deliver QHSE training as needed
• Conduct internal and supplier audits
• Collaborate with site engineers and management to keep PPM procedures updated
• Liaise with accreditation bodies to ensure continued certification
• Review and implement new HS&E and ISO procedures and legislation
• Manage PPE requirements
• Lead and support teams through coaching, mentoring, and proactive communication
• Manage workload and supervise junior team members
