• Minimum of 3 years relevant practical experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience leading internal and external audits (customer and supplier)
• Successful track record in gaining and maintaining ISO accreditations
• Experience implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems
• Liaise with Production Manager/Shift Leaders to ensure adherence to Quality and HSE procedures
• Promote a safety culture and safety awareness among teams and individuals
• Operate and administer an effective Near Miss/Safety Catch programme
• Conduct and maintain current Risk Assessments, developing them in collaboration with departmental managers and staff
• Design and deliver H&S training to operators and staff at all levels
• Chair regular Quality and H&S meetings
• Keep Quality procedures up to date
• Support complaint investigations and liaise with the team on customer quality questionnaires
• Create, update, and maintain product specifications following Change Management procedures
• Ensure ISO 9001, 14001 procedures are current
• Arrange and deliver QHSE training as needed
• Conduct internal and supplier audits
• Liaise with site engineers and production management to keep PPM procedures current
• Coordinate with ISO and accreditation authorities to maintain certifications
• Review and implement new HS&E and ISO procedures and legislation
• Manage PPE requirements
• Support team management through coaching, mentoring, and proactive communication
• Manage workload and supervise less experienced team members
