Job summary

DP World seeks an HSEQ Manager to drive health, safety, quality and environmental standards across ports and terminals in Europe. You will work closely with terminal leadership, HSE professionals, operations and engineering teams, delivering guidance and continuous improvements with approximately 30% travel.

You will champion DP World's safety culture, lead audits, investigations and regional standard-setting, empowering leaders to embed strong HSEQ ownership across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Significant HSEQ experience in high-risk operations.
• Experience across ports, terminals, logistics or heavy industry.
• Proven multi-site HSEQ management experience.
• Degree in HSE/Engineering/Environmental Management or equivalent.
• NEBOSH or IOSH certification.
• Strong stakeholder management in multinational environments.

About the Role

As HSEQ Manager, you will support the delivery of DP World's HSEQ strategy across Ports & Terminals operations throughout Europe. Working closely with terminal leadership teams, HSE professionals, Operations and Engineering colleagues, you will provide expert guidance, drive continuous improvement, and help create a consistent approach to health, safety, quality and environmental management across multiple countries. The role offers significant regional exposure and approximately 30% travel across our European locations.

How You Will Contribute

• Drive the consistent implementation of DP World's HSEQ strategy, standards, minimum requirements and improvement initiatives across a portfolio of European ports and terminals.
• The HSEQ Manager will play a key role in championing DP World's culture, values and HSE expectations.
• Lead by example and positively influence leaders, employees and contractors to demonstrate strong HSE ownership.
• Coordinate and support incident investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and lessons learned are shared across the region.
• Provide expert HSEQ advice to terminal leadership teams on operational risks, critical controls and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and support audits, assessments and assurance activities, driving timely closure of actions and effective improvements.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering and site HSEQ teams to develop practical, consistent regional standards and best practices.
• Constructively challenge behaviours and practices that do not align with DP World expectations.
• Analyze HSE trends and performance data to identify risks, opportunities and improvement priorities.
• Facilitate regional working groups and cross-functional projects focused on improving HSEQ performance and operational excellence.
• Coach, influence and support operational leaders to strengthen accountability, engagement and a positive safety culture.
• Deliver training, mentoring and capability-building initiatives across terminal teams.

What You Will Bring

• Significant HSEQ experience gained within a high-risk operational environment.
• Experience in ports, terminals, logistics, shipping, manufacturing, heavy industry, infrastructure, energy or a similar sector.
• Proven experience supporting or managing HSEQ across multiple sites, regions or countries.
• Strong knowledge of operational risk management, incident investigation and critical controls.
• Experience conducting audits, assurance reviews and risk assessments.
• A degree in HSE, Engineering, Environmental Management, Risk Management or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• A recognised HSE qualification such as NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent professional certification.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge effectively within a matrix and multinational environment.
