Job summary

Recra Ltd is recruiting an HSEQ Manager to take strategic and operational ownership of health, safety, environmental, quality and training activities within an operational business. You will be the principal source of HSEQ expertise, helping the business meet obligations and build a workforce that embraces safe, effective practices.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 4+ in Occupational Health & Safety Practice or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide practical guidance on legislation, permits and internal policies.
• Maintain and improve ISO management systems, documentation and certifications.
• Lead internal audits, site inspections and prepare for external audits.
• Identify operational risks and implement corrective and preventative actions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near-misses and drive improvements.
• Report HSEQ performance to senior management and recommend priorities.
• Lead the training strategy and maintain competence frameworks.
• Coordinate and deliver internal and external training as required.
• Manage relationships with regulators, auditors and other stakeholders.
• Support tender submissions and supplier compliance assessments.
• Develop and mentor direct reports and promote shared HSEQ ownership.
