Job summary

Network Plus group is seeking a proactive HSEQ Advisor for a central HSEQ Team, covering a regional contract based in Preston. You will promote compliance, escalate issues, and ensure employees are aware of raised concerns while supporting document control and system compliance.

Reporting to the HSEQ Lead, you will conduct site audits, manage investigations, and drive corrective actions, with responsibility for training, competency, and building strong client relationships on site and with the

Qualifications

• H&S qualification NEBOSH Certificate or NEBOSH Construction (or equivalent) required.
• IOSH membership or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience in distribution network operator environments is essential.
• Able to lead site-based audits and investigations with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and compliance standards are maintained; address issues promptly.
• Support operational inductions and training.
• Complete verification inspections and close findings/nonconformances.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Promote documentation control and system compliance.
• Engage with clients and internal teams to improve processes.
