Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Coordinate with HSEQ auditors to maintain company accreditations.
- Create, monitor, and update procedures within the Quality Management System.
- Guide and advise employees and management on HSEQ matters to ensure legal compliance.
- Plan and conduct audits, documenting outcomes and implementing best practices.
- Provide training on HSEQ topics to internal staff.
- Ensure processes deliver expected results and report on performance and improvements.
- Promote customer focus and maintain the integrity of the HSEQ management system.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop safe operational procedures.
- Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance.
- Develop health and safety strategies and policies.
- Lead training sessions on QHSE topics.
- Maintain inspection records and produce improvement reports.
- Record incidents and produce statistical reports.
- Stay updated on legislation and industry developments.
- Attend professional seminars and read relevant journals.
- Produce management reports, newsletters, and bulletins.
- Ensure safe installation of equipment and manage hazardous substances disposal (e.g., asbestos).
- Advise on fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, machinery safeguarding, and occupational diseases.
- Manage emergency procedures, signage, PPE, and COSHH controls.
- Hold NEBOSH General or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrate passion and robust knowledge in HSEQ subjects.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR, and DSE regulations.
- Auditor training/experience preferred.
- Hands-on approach to implementing processes and change.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
