Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a proactive HSEQ Advisor for our regional contract in Exeter. You will join a central HSEQ Team reporting to the HSEQ Lead and support safety, compliance and quality across operations.

Responsibilities include conducting verification inspections, driving corrective actions, supporting investigations, and ensuring training compliance with standards such as ISO45001, ISO9001 and ISO14001. Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Qualifications

• CDM knowledge required.
• H&S qualification (NEBOSH) essential.
• UK Driving Licence is required.

Description

As a HSEQ Advisor, you will be part of a central HSEQ Team with responsibility for one of our regional contracts reporting to the HSEQ Lead.

£40,000 - £55,000 / year

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that safety and compliance standards are maintained, and any issues are addressed immediately
• Complete verification inspections – follow up on closure of findings/non-conformances
• Support the accident and incident investigations, and promote good quality reporting and closure
• Complete and encourage unsafe acts/conditions and positive intervention reporting
• Complete a weekly and monthly report on achievements and issues identified
• Communicate and drive an efficient close out of corrective actions raised by the Compliance Department and external auditors
• Compile Accident/Incident Stats for the contracts your support and attend client meetings
• Work with the wider operational team to maintain strong relationships and improve processes/systems where possible
• Drive the correct and safe behaviours out on-site and within the office
• Support the contract on training and competency requirements, ensuring that the contracts are achieving the highest standards of training compliance
• You will assist the Quality Assurance Lead with accreditations and provide support where required, with standards, including but not limited to ISO45001, ISO9001, ISO14001 etc
• Support the business with delivering the milestone and strategy plan on contract
• Evolve within the business and be willing to learn more about the products / services that we provide.

Experience and Qualifications

• Strong CDM knowledge
• H&S qualification (essential) e.g. NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)
• EUSR Water Hygiene (desirable)
• EUSR Shea Water (desirable)
• IOSH Managing Safely (Desirable)
• Experience of having worked in the Utilities or Construction sectors (desirable)
• Full UK Driving License
