HSQE Advisor | Rail/ Civil Engineering
About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced HSQE Advisor to join a major rail/civil engineering project based in North London. This is a site-based role on a high-profile project, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to work with a dedicated and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide expert advice and support on all Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental matters on-site.
  2. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  3. Develop, implement, and maintain HSQE procedures and documentation.
  4. Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and training sessions to promote a safety-first culture.
  5. Investigate and report on incidents or near-misses, identifying corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  6. Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to foster a positive HSQE culture.
Key Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in a similar HSQE role, ideally within rail or civil engineering projects.
  2. In-depth knowledge of HSQE legislation, regulations, and best practices.
  3. NEBOSH or equivalent qualification is essential.
  4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
