Overview of the Role

• HSEQ Officer
• Holidays: 30 days, with 1 additional day per year of service up to a maximum of 5 days. Holiday buy-back scheme available for an additional 5 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong customer relationships
• Manage and liaise with HSEQ auditors to maintain company accreditations
• Create, monitor, and maintain procedures within the Quality Management System
• Coach and advise employees on HSEQ matters to ensure legal compliance
• Plan and perform audits, documenting successes and areas for improvement
• Provide training on HSEQ topics
• Ensure company processes meet their intended outputs
• Report on HSEQ performance and improvement opportunities
• Promote customer focus and maintain the integrity of the HSEQ system
• Conduct risk assessments and develop safe operational procedures
• Perform regular site inspections for policy adherence
• Ensure practices are safe and compliant with legislation
• Develop health and safety strategies and policies
• Lead training sessions on QHSE topics
• Keep records of inspections, incidents, and produce reports
• Stay updated with legislation and industry developments
• Manage hazardous substances disposal and emergency procedures
• Advise on fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, and occupational diseases
• Require NEBOSH General or equivalent qualification
• Proficient in MS Office and risk assessment tools
• Have auditor training/experience
• Be a proactive implementer of processes and change
• Hold a full UK driving license and be willing to travel
• Have full rights to work in the UK, with IDLR or Settled Status
