Job Description

The key responsibilities for the role of HSE Specialist are as follows:

  1. Implementing, monitoring and reviewing HSE strategies, policies and procedures.
  2. Support in achieving / maintaining the companies ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  3. Delivering training and promoting awareness of health and safety obligations.
  4. Conducting risk assessments, audits and site inspections.
  5. Investigating accidents and incidents, and implementing corrective actions.
  6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices.
  7. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure HSE standards are adhered to.
  8. Reporting on HSE performance to senior management.
  9. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives in the area of HSE.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HSE Specialist should have:

  1. Relevant qualifications in Health, Safety and Environmental management.
  2. Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  3. Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and compliance.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
