The role

As a HSE Safety Advisor you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The HSE Safety Advisor is responsible for ensuring that Cavendish complies with safety, health, and environmental regulations, as well as implementing policies and procedures to manage risks and hazards. They collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure safety, health, and environmental considerations are integrated into all aspects of the organisation's activities.

Day To Day, You’ll

• Play a critical role in ensuring that Babcock operates in a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible manner.
• Manage risks, implement effective policies and procedures, and conduct training and investigations. These roles help protect employees, the public, and the environment, while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week, based predominantly at Hinkley Point with some travel to other Cavendish sites.

Essential Experience Of The HSE Safety Advisor

• Previous experience as a HSE Advisor within a highly regulated environment.
• Experience working with Nuclear is advantageous but not essential.
• Extensive stakeholder interaction experience.
• Typically recognized by an industry/professional body.

Qualifications For The HSE Safety Advisor

• IOSH or NEBOSH Qualification.

Security Clearance
