Job Description

Principal People are delighted to be recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor to join a market-leading utility business as part of their decarbonisation and metering division.

The client we are working with can provide an excellent level of training and development to a self-motivated candidate with a desire to progress.

The successful Health and Safety Advisor will report to the Health & Safety Manager and will be well supported by an experienced and established team.

This home-based position involves travelling to sites in the North of England on an autonomous basis, offering an excellent level of flexibility to balance work and personal life.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive a positive Health and Safety culture throughout the wider business.
  2. Provide Health and Safety guidance across multiple sites.
  3. Conduct Health and Safety audits and inspections.
  4. Support the Health and Safety Manager.
  5. Undertake incident investigations and implement preventative measures to prevent recurrence.
Candidate Requirements
  • NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction certificate or equivalent.
  • Valid Full UK Driving License.
  • Experience within Utilities, Consultancy, Social Housing, or related industries.
