Job summary

Principal People are recruiting for an HSE Manager to join a leading organisation delivering major renewable energy projects across the UK and Ireland. You will join a project start-up team, taking projects from early planning through mobilisation and site establishment, before handing over to the longer-term HSE team.

The role involves early-stage HSE planning, contractor setup, on-site mobilisation, and continuous improvement across multiple projects with a 4-week rotation and travel across

Qualifications

• Recognised health and safety qualification.
• Experience managing HSE on construction or project environments is preferred.
• Ability to work across multiple projects and travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of HSE requirements from contract award through to site establishment.
• Develop project-specific HSE, environmental and traffic management plans.
• Review RAMS and other project documentation with clients and subcontractors.
• Build relationships with clients, principal contractors and subcontractors.
• Support site mobilisation and the practical set-up of welfare and safety arrangements.
• Identify opportunities to improve HSE processes and ways of working.
• Support sites for mobilisation periods and travel across the UK & Ireland.
