Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Occupational Health & Safety Manager for a Further Education college served across Aylesbury, High Wycombe and Amersham. You will provide health and safety guidance, conduct risk assessments, audits and inspections, and help departments implement safe systems of work across multiple campuses.

The role requires NEBOSH Level 3 General Certificate, strong knowledge of current legislation, and the ability to travel between campuses.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Level 3 General Certificate is essential.
• Experience in health and safety in education, estates or facilities.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and risk management.
• Effective communication and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide health and safety advice across the college.
• Carry out risk assessments, audits and health and safety inspections.
• Review safe systems of work and relevant legislation.
• Identify hazards and support departments in managing workplace risks.
• Promote a positive health and safety culture across campuses.
• Work closely with the Head of Estates and Health & Safety and Campus Managers.
• Travel between the Aylesbury, High Wycombe and Amersham campuses.
• Full-time, 37-hour week, Monday to Friday and predominantly site-based.
