Job summary

onlyFE is seeking a Health & Safety professional to support the Head of Facilities across three college campuses in Havant. The role focuses on creating and promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

You will prepare policies, conduct risk assessments, manage group-wide training, advise on safety regulations, and conduct workstation assessments to support staff health. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH National General Certificate required.
• Competence with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to work with people at all levels and build credible relationships.
• IOSH Managing Safely certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare health and safety strategies and develop internal policy and procedures.
• Carry out risk assessments across all campuses and advise on risk reduction.
• Manage Health and Safety training across all campuses and deliver in-house training.
• Advise on fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases.
• Conduct workstation assessments and coordinate required support equipment and referrals.
