Job summary

Major Energy Onshore in Newcastle upon Tyne is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager to lead HSE activities across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH Diploma and 3-5 years of HSE management experience.

This role entails developing and implementing HSE strategies, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, and providing guidance to management on HSE matters. A generous benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management role.
• Strong knowledge in HSE legislation and standards.
• Experience in delivering HSE strategies and training.

Responsibilities

• Create and sustain the Health, Safety and Environmental Plan.
• Develop and maintain health and safety systems and procedures.
• Provide guidance on occupational health, safety and environmental obligations.
• Assist in accident investigations and implement preventive measures.
• Monitor and report on health and safety statistics.
