Pertemps Bond in Gloucester is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental compliance across the site and foster a strong safety culture. This permanent, full-time role focuses on developing standards, delivering training, and reporting to senior management.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage incidents, and work with operations to reduce risk while ensuring legal compliance. Salary up to £60,000 DOE and typical Monday–Friday hours are included.

Formación

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial management.
• Excellent investigation, auditing and risk assessment skills.
• Proactive, able to influence stakeholders.

• Provide regular HSE reports and recommendations to senior management.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an HSE Manager to join a growing manufacturing business in Gloucester. This is a key leadership position responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining health, safety and environmental standards across the organisation. Working closely with senior management and operational teams, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with legislation, reducing risk and promoting best practice throughout the business.

About You

• Previous experience in a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager position
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent health and safety qualification
• Strong knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation
• Experience within management in a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment
• Excellent investigation, auditing and risk assessment skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Proactive approach to driving positive safety culture and behavioural change
• Membership of IOSH or equivalent professional body would be advantageous
