A reputable recruitment agency is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to enhance safety processes within a manufacturing environment in Coalville. This role involves leading HSE policy development and ensuring compliance through effective communication and initiative. The successful candidate will have a NEBOSH Certificate and experience with HSE management systems. A competitive salary of £55,000 to £65,000 plus a bonus is offered, along with flexible hours and 25 days holiday.

Are you an experienced HSE Manager or HSE Team Leader looking for a new challenge? We are working with a reputable, established manufacturer who are looking to improve the HSE function. This position would suit someone who is very organised and can bring positive changes into HSE processes. You will be working within a unionised environment so we do need someone who is a strong communicator to ensure policies are followed. The role is around 60% H&S focussed and 40% environmentally focussed.
£55,000 to £65,000 per annum + Bonus. Flexible hours around core days. 25 days holiday + banks.
Proven experience within a HSE position that works closely with manufacturing / engineering teams.
This is more of systems / process management role rather than being responsible for a team of people.
NEBOSH Certificate is required for the position. A Diploma would be an advantage too.
Experience and knowledge of management systems or equivalent internal system; i.e. HSE (ISO14001, ISO45001) or Quality (ISO9001), Energy (ISO50001).

Lead HSE policy development, strategic planning, Zero Harm and HSE Roadmap development.
Provide HSE advice specific to the business, acting as a technical expert and internal consultant.
Develop, initiate and coordinate short, medium and long-term activities for sustained HSE Performance and continually enhance the safety culture.
Managing reporting and investigation procedures for accidents/incidents.
Lead environmental controls, waste management systems, carbon and energy reduction projects.
Set, monitor and report on KPI’s, report weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually on progress (Report Card, MPX, Origami)
