Job summary

Rolls-Royce are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor for our Trentham facility in Stoke-on-Trent. You will lead health, safety and environmental governance across the site, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and company policies while driving continuous improvement.

You will manage the environmental management system including the effluent treatment plant, lead incident investigations, and support cross-site environmental initiatives.

Qualifications

• Essential NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent).
• Membership of a relevant professional body (IOSH).
• Demonstrated HSE experience within a complex operational environment.
• Strong communication skills with ability to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support identification, assessment and mitigation of HSE risks with guidance to local management.
• Act as a visible HSE leader, promoting proactive safety and environmental culture.
• Govern environmental management system including effluent treatment plant (ETP).
• Establish governance arrangements, report on risks and performance, escalate issues.
• Identify applicable legal and company HSE requirements and support improvement programmes.
• Manage site environmental compliance, permits and consent-to-discharge requirements.
• Support emergency response plans, incident investigation and reporting with corrective actions.
• Collect and analyse HSE performance data to inform decision-making and drive improvements.
• Deliver assurance activities, inspections, audits, and coaching to leaders and supervisors.
• Engage with stakeholders to build HSE capability and deliver training.
