Job summary

Griffith Foods is seeking an HSE Lead to drive Health, Safety and Environment across our UK site. You will develop and implement WHS and EMS plans, lead audits, and partner with stakeholders to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

A NEBOSH Diploma and IOSH/IEMA/IRM membership are preferred; ISO 14001/45001 knowledge is valued. The role requires strong leadership, risk assessment, training, and a commitment to zero harm and environmental responsibility.

Qualifications

• Broad experience in WHSE improvement.
• Certified in NEBOSH Diploma – Occupational Health, Safety Management.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing the WHS & EMS plan for the Wincanton site, ensuring a WHS culture is intrinsic within the organisation.
• Spearheads leads the development of people, working with regional HSE team, with a clear focus on industry standards.
• Provides advice and guidance to all levels of the organisation on all HSE and legislative issues.
