Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited is seeking a Health & Safety Officer on a contract basis to manage HSE across two Leicester sites, ~15 minutes apart. The role offers £300 per day (Outside IR35) for an initial 3-month term with potential extension, and immediate start.

Expect hands-on leadership of safety programs in a manufacturing environment. You will drive compliance, audits and continuous improvement, reporting to senior leadership while coordinating across two sites with a travel element to

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification (Diploma preferred).
• Experience as HSE Manager within manufacturing/recycling or heavy engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Responsibilities

• Lead Health, Safety and Environmental compliance across two sites.
• Conduct site inspections, safety walks and risk assessments.
• Produce HSE KPIs, statistics and management reports.
• Lead audits to ensure ISO compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement and safety culture.
• Advise managers on HSE best practices.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
