Job summary

Safran in Wolverhampton invites applications for a 12-month Industrial Placement in Health, Safety & Environment. Based at Actuation Systems headquarters, you will gain hands-on experience across inspections, risk assessments, investigations and environmental initiatives within a world-class aerospace manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• On track to achieve a degree in a related discipline (e.g., OHS, Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Engineering).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Proactive attitude with genuine interest in health, safety, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of the site's HSE Management System.
• Assist with workplace inspections, safety audits and compliance activities.
• Participate in risk assessments and review control measures.
• Support accident, incident and near-miss investigations.
• Monitor environmental monitoring and sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain HSE records, documentation and performance data.
