Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is seeking a proactive HSE Coordinator to join our Health, Safety and Environmental team in Middlesbrough. You will work closely with the Senior HSE Advisor to promote a positive safety culture, ensure compliance, and support improvements across all HSE activities.

Key duties include risk assessments, audits, investigations, and delivering training while maintaining records and supporting emergency arrangements.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental practices.
• Strong organisational, communication, and administrative skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach to compliance and risk management.
• Confidence using technology and digital systems.
• A passion for learning and developing HSE expertise.

As our HSE Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the implementation of our Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) strategy. You’ll work closely with the Senior HSE Advisor to promote a positive safety culture, ensure legal compliance, and support continuous improvement across all HSE activities.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about safety, who enjoys working collaboratively across all levels of the business.

Your Duties Will Include:

• Support and conduct risk assessments and implement effective control measures.
