Job summary

Sovereign Network Group (SNG) is seeking an HSE Advisor to cover Basingstoke and surrounding areas. You will promote a strong safety culture, provide expert advice on HSE matters, and support stakeholders in interpreting regulatory standards.

Travel across the operating area is required, with a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle. Key responsibilities include coaching, field safety visits, incident investigations, and delivering HSE inductions to align with SNG's ESaW vision.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience providing expert health and safety advice within housing or construction.
• Track record reviewing and developing HSE policies, procedures and best practices.
• Confidence in classifying incidents and leading investigations to root cause.
• Creative thinking to develop engaging safety training and workshops.
• Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders, building trusted relationships.
• Comfortable prioritising workloads with accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build strong professional relationships with key stakeholders across Property Services, delivering subject matter expertise on HSE.
• Provide competent coaching, advice, and guidance to drive continuous improvement.
• Coach and promote visible safety leadership and lead initiatives to establish a strong safety mindset.
• Conduct safety visits to offices, residential properties and development sites, guiding frontline colleagues and managers.
• Provide support and expert advice on occupational health hazards and field monitoring within localities region.
• Promote good environmental operational awareness and working practices within the organisation.
• Engage with stakeholders to explain policies, procedures, and HSE documents for clear application.
• Lead, support, and guide the incident management process with root cause analysis for continual improvements.
• Deliver HSE induction training to engage new colleagues in SNG's ESaW vision.
