Job summary

The Health & Safety Adviser role is based in Middlesbrough with occasional travel to other sites. Salary circa £35,000 per annum, day shifts, with potential support towards NEBOSH General for the right person.

You will work within an established industrial business, reporting to a director and helping to strengthen health and safety across the site. The role offers opportunities to broaden experience into quality and other HSE areas as you develop.

As Health & Safety Adviser, you'll support health and safety across a busy industrial environment, working alongside operational colleagues and the existing site team.

The Health & Safety Adviser will receive support on site while developing their knowledge and taking on responsibility. There may also be opportunities to broaden your experience into quality and, over time, wider health and safety responsibilities.

Skills & Experience:

The Health & Safety Adviser opportunity would suit someone with around two years' relevant experience who wants to develop their career.

Experience in manufacturing, engineering or industrial logistics would be valuable, particularly exposure to environments involving forklifts, cranes or saws.

NEBOSH General is desirable rather than essential. Enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and a practical approach are priorities, with potential training support for the right person.
